Welcome to the International Online Curriculum For Biological Innovations In Oral Surgery Based On Guided Open Wound Healing in collaboration with The Academy For Biological Innovations in Surgery.
This curriculum enables you as a dental professional of all level of expertise to understand the principals of jaw bone atrophy and biology, generation of cavitations and their treatment, atraumatic tooth extraction, socket preservation, ridge augmentation by means Open Guided Bone Regeneration of PTFE alone or in combination with 3D pre-fabricated meshes, sinus floor augmentation, implantology with tissue level ceramic implants as well as soft tissue management based on the principles of The Guided Open Wound Healing Concept. It contains Webinars, Surgical Teaching Videos (STV) of all related surgeries, Clinical Case Gallery, Surgical Teaching Animations (STA) and Illustrated Paper Summary (IPS). Furthermore, this international online curriculum provides a Community Chat, along which participants can communicate with the instructor on a weekly basis and discuss their cases and problems. Additionally, there will be Monthly Zoom Meetings for online classes and problem-oriented communication.
This curriculum is divided in ten modules based content based on audio-visualized learning principals. For better understanding and visualization, there will be quarterly presentation and discussion of Live Surgery videos for the participants, in order to demonstrate the surgical steps of Guided Open Wound Healing Concept of the above-mentioned surgical topics.

Do I need previous experience ?
You need to be a dentist. However, there’s no need to have any prior knowledge in implant related oral surgery. We'll teach you from the ground up you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills you need to establish implantology based on Guided Open Wound Healing in your dental office.
